I am completely in love with my Symfonie Wood Knit Pro needles - my double pointeds, and my interchangeable circulars. Obviously, they look gorgeous - fun but also elegant - however there is so much more than that! The laminated wood finish is just amazing, it has to be experienced to be believed - nice and fast, but with enough hold and grip to use for even the most intricate patterns. The interchangeable circulars are brilliant for someone like me - I am easily bored, so I constantly switch between knitting projects. With the handy end-keepers, I can use the same needles on several projects, simply unscrewing them and switching. I also crochet - for years, I've told anyone who would listen that I wish you would make crochet hooks in the brilliant laminated wood finish - I am so, so excited now to try out one of your hooks! Actually, I have had a better look at the Knit Pro range on the website, and there are dozens of products I am now dying to get my hands on...

As Editor of The Knitter, I spend an enormous amount of time swatching yarns. It is a wonderful part of my job and I need my needles to work with me to achieve the best results. They are the tools of my trade, after all. I really wouldn't be without my Symfonie interchangeables and my Nova DPNs. They are hard wearing and durable yet kind to your hands and respond well to all fibres and yarn weights. My poor needles probably get a lot more wear than most and yet they are as wonderful to today as the first time I unpacked them.

I’ve been a very serious knitter for all my life. I’ve been knitting for my children when they were small, and now I knit to my grand-children. Through the years I have used the needles that was available at the market. Taken good care of the needles cause I have invested money in them. I have always loved to knit with light circular needles and I used the "rose" for the first time during a trip. I immediately realized they were extremely sliding (much more than the symfonie base) and very close to the metal needles. Still they were silent, cozy and soft as wooden needles at the same time.

In brief I would say the rose can be defined as some sort of Rolls Royce of circular needles. I think they are a little luxury good to show with pride and satisfaction.

I discovered Knit Pro needles about five years ago and have hardly used another needle since (in spite of having a needle collection going back 30 years!) the needles are perfectly pointed and a joy a to knit with.

The circulars join so smoothly, they never snag my wool and it is so easy to change the size of the cable when working on large projects like shawls. The cable tightening hole is perfect for feeding a life line through and top down jerseys can easily be tried on with the cable connectors making cables the length I want.

Have I mentioned I LOVE Knit Pro needles :-)

I like needles KP for their lightness and functionality. Since I have discovered them I did not use other already. Soft cables with different lengths allow working on different techniques. Needles enable to knit small as well as big things. Whatever I will invent, I can make it on needles KP. I use wooden, metal and acrylic needles for different tasks. Wooden ones are for slippery yarns, acrylic ones for thin wools and metal ones are for special task. There is huge advantage of KP’s accessories , I have a possibility to change them in the course of work on another size, kind, length. I advice all cordially these needles. Moreover, I have met with opinion that they have “turbo-charge” and I agree with it.

I have a friend who says she’d like to fill the bath with her yarn stash, take off all her clothes, and roll in it.

Knitting is a sensual pleasure. It’s all about the feel, the colours, the slide of yarn on needles. Knitpro appear to understand this.

Their products are not cheap, yet somehow, I’ve succumbed to a considerable number of them. Two birthdays ago, I stood myself to a set of their multi-coloured wooden circulars. As a treat to myself, I’ve added to it at odd times to make it comprehensive.

I now use nothing else. I love the colours, and the warmth of them in my hands. I prefer the slide of yarn on smooth wood. Circulars also cause the weight of a heavy garment to lie in your lap, rather than on your hands and wrists.

When I travel, I pack one small flat case and I have every needle I could possibly need. They have an added advantage for air travel: I’ve been hassled about long straight needles at airports. But wooden circulars – points pressed into guards and wound inside an on-going project – cause no suspicion at all.

They make great gifts. A number of our knitting group have these sets. There’s always an add-on for a birthday or a treat: a shawl pin; a set of cable needles; pretty stitch markers…

I do have a negative. Anything smaller than a 4mm tends to snap easily – often in the middle of some delicate lace manoeuvre. I have countered this by replacing my smaller needles with Knitpro metal circulars. I don’t enjoy the feel or look of them quite as much, but they’re still nice to use.

All in all, these are not practical or sensible buys. You won’t find them on a shopping list beside: “Cabbages and loo rolls”. You turn them over in your hands first, wonder if you can justify another set of 4mms. You yearn a little, drop hints to your friends…

But when you own them, you set them out to admire them.They’re luxurious. They add to the tactile pleasure of knitting and I love them.

I like the Knit-Pro very much. Ever since I got hold of these knitting pins I don't use anything else but Knit-Pro.

I?m slowly building up my own collection of knitting pins so I have at least one pare of each size.

One of the reasons that I like them is that they feel very soft when You knit, the neadle point is just as sharp as it should be and they are silent to use.

The only negative point is that the yarn sometimes gets stuck where the cord beginns that is a little bit irritating.

Finally, I will never stop using Knit-Pro - "they are just GREAT"

Knitting is my hobby. My whole life I have tried to bring joy with it, to family and friends. I always wished that once someone comes along and brings some variety in to these needles.

When some time ago I discovered KnitPro needles I was very curious and now that I practically always use these needles I am delighted. They lie marvelously in my hands and the points are perfect!
